Zlatorog Hall

Celje was one of the organizers of the 2004 European Championship. On October 3rd 2002 the members of parliament Celje decisively voted in favor of construction of a new sports hall. The foundation stone was laid on April 16th and construction was completed in December 2003. On this day the Zlatorog sports hall became the home of the handball players of RK Celje Pivovarna Laško.
